How this live sub count works

Once a channel passes 1,000 subscribers, YouTube rounds the number it shows in public. MrBeast shows up as 518M, and a channel with 12,345 subs shows 12.3K. This page fills in the hidden digits: it pulls fresh numbers every 2 seconds and shows an estimated live count, so you can watch a channel grow sub by sub.

The big number is an estimate, not an official YouTube figure. It follows the channel's recent growth and lines up with YouTube's rounded count, so the last few digits can be a little off. Total views, the next goal and the growth rates on this page come from the same data.

Find a channel

Use the search box at the top. You can type:

• a channel name, for example PewDiePie
• an @handle, for example @MrBeast
• a channel link, for example youtube.com/channel/UC-lHJZR3Gqxm24_Vd_AJ5Yw
• a channel ID, which always starts with UC

The page address switches to that channel, so you can bookmark it or send it to a friend.

Subscriber countdown to the next milestone

The countdown under the counter shows the next round number for the channel, how many subscribers are still missing and a rough date for when it gets there. That date comes from the growth measured while this page is open, so it gets better the longer you leave it running. Handy for a sub goal, or to catch the moment a channel hits a big number.
