Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Livecounts.nl (https://livecounts.nl) collects when you use the site, why, and what you can do about it. The site is run by LivecountsNL, Netherlands ("we", "us").
The short version
- You do not need an account, and we never ask for a password.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and Google AdSense to show ads. Both use cookies. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
- Counters only show public numbers from the platforms. We do not store anyone's social media login details.
What we collect
When you visit a page
Our server and our network provider, Cloudflare, process the technical data needed to deliver pages: your IP address, browser type, the address you requested, the page you came from and the time of the request. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
Names and links you enter
When you look up a channel, profile, video or server, that name or link is sent to our server or to the service that provides the count, so the number can be fetched. Our server may cache a result for a short time so we do not call the platforms too often. Some counter pages keep a short list of your recent lookups in your own browser. We do not tie lookups to you as a person.
Settings in your browser
Small settings, such as dark or light mode and the last platform you picked in the search box, are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device.
Messages you send us
If you contact us through the chat, Discord, X or email, we receive what you send and whatever that service shares with us, such as your username. We only use it to answer you.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. The counters keep working without them, although you may see less relevant ads.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to see how many people visit, which pages they use and roughly where they come from at country level. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We only use these reports to improve the site. You can block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on or with the tracking protection in your browser.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the site free.
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of personalised ads from other participating vendors at www.aboutads.info (and, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu).

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see a consent message from Google's consent management tool before advertising or analytics cookies are used for personalisation. You can say no and still use every counter. To change your choice later, clear this site's cookies and the message appears again.
Crisp chat
The chat on this site is provided by Crisp IM SAS (France). The chat script only loads after you start using a page or when you open the chat yourself. Once loaded it sets cookies to keep your conversation, and if you send a message, Crisp stores it so we can read and answer it. See Crisp's privacy policy.
Cloudflare
Livecounts.nl runs behind Cloudflare, Inc., which protects the site against attacks and delivers it faster. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request data for that purpose and may set security cookies such as __cf_bm. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Data from social platforms
Counters show public numbers from YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, Threads, Bluesky, Truth Social, Kick, Twitch, Roblox, Steam, FiveM, Minecraft servers, Discord and Telegram. We only request information that the platform shows publicly to anyone, such as a display name, profile picture and follower count. We do not ask for or store passwords or login tokens, we cannot see private profiles, and we cannot post anything for anyone.
Some YouTube data is shown through the YouTube API Services. By using those counters you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy applies to that data.
If a counter shows your public profile and you would rather it did not, making the account private or changing the username stops the counter from finding it. You can also contact us.
Legal basis
Where the law requires consent, such as for personalised advertising and analytics cookies in the EEA and the UK, we rely on your consent. For server logs, security and caching we rely on our legitimate interest in running a working and safe website. For messages you send us, we rely on your request to be answered.
Children
Livecounts.nl is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. In EU countries that set a higher age for consent to online services, that age applies. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Much of the data described here is handled by Google, Crisp and Cloudflare, and you can manage a lot of it directly with them, for example in Google Ads Settings. For anything else, contact us. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
