Facebook rounds big numbers on the page itself, so Cristiano Ronaldo's page shows 174M instead of the exact count. This counter asks for the full number every 2 seconds and shows each follow and unfollow as it comes in.
It works for public pages and for public profiles with followers turned on. Search by name and pick the page from the list, or paste a link like facebook.com/realmadrid. Numeric profile ids work too.
