How Snapchat follower counts work
Snapchat calls followers subscribers. Only public profiles have them: creators, brands and anyone who turned on a public profile. A normal account has friends instead, and nobody else can see how many.
The number on this page is the one Snapchat puts on the public profile at snapchat.com/add/username. Snapchat shows it in steps of 100 and updates it now and then, not live. So if a count sits still for a while, that is Snapchat, not this page.
How often we check
A profile is read again at most every 30 minutes while people look at it, and the accounts in the list above every few hours. When the number moves, we keep the new value with its date. That is what the "Changes we saw" chart on each profile is made of.
Put it on your stream or website
Open a profile and use Embed code for a small widget on a website, or OBS link for a browser source. Both pick up new numbers by themselves and never show ads.
